How long does a Tagi Pad last?

With proper washing and drying, a Tagi Pad lasts one to three years — replacing dozens of single-use packs and saving money over time.

Are Tagi Pads safe and certified?

Yes. Tagi Pads carry the Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS) Standardisation Mark, awarded in March 2026. They are chemical-free and skin-friendly. You can verify the mark by sending SM#95724 to 20023 (SMS charges may apply).

How do I order and pay?

Message us on WhatsApp at +254 768 270009 to place an order, and pay via KCB bank or Lipa na Mpesa. Ask about our lipa pole pole (pay-in-instalments) option.

How do I care for them?

Rinse in cold water, wash with soap, dry fully in the sun or a clean airy place, then fold and store somewhere clean. Simple, private and hygienic.

Who makes Tagi Pads?

They are sewn by hand in Cheramei, Uasin Gishu, by a trained team of young mothers who earn a fair wage and gain financial-literacy skills.

Are they only for girls who can’t afford pads?

No — Tagi Pads are for every menstruator. Selling to everyone is exactly what funds the free pads we donate to girls in need.

Can I sponsor pads for a girl or a school?

Absolutely. A share of every batch is donated to girls who need it, and partners can sponsor a school or a production batch. Get in touch and we’ll set it up.

Do you offer education as well as pads?

Yes. We pair pads with menstrual-health and SRHR education in schools, villages and community institutions. See our Programs page for the topics we cover.
